Back in the early 70s, my parents built a cabin on one

of the lakes here in the Adirondacks. We spent time

on the lake each summer & my memories are still quite

vivid. Fast forward thirty years and my husband

and I have a small cabin on the same lake.

Our daughter’s family, her husband & five children

come up to visit from Texas every year for about a month.

Hubby & I live here year-round now on the “boat

access only” side where I spend my time studying &

reading, watercoloring what I see, snowmobiling,

snowshoeing & plain old surviving in these

mountains along with our three dogs.

My folks would be happy to know that the 3rd & 4th

generations have fallen in love with “our lake” nestled

here in the Adirondack mountains.

I recently began painting Pet Portraits for friends and
family. Commissioned work has followed!
